Recreational Soccer Coach Information

Coaching Coordinator: Scott Olszewski

Important Coach Information
  • We are seeking volunteer coaches to help build lifelong skills and a love for the sport of soccer within the youth of our community.  As a coach, you would be responsible for creating a fun and safe environment for team practices and games as well as teaching sportsmanship, game skills and soccer fundamentals. “Win at All Cost” coaches need not apply.
  • Time commitment: 2-4 hours during the week (practices) and about one hour on the weekend (games) for approximately 13 weeks
Qualifications: Basic knowledge of (or the ability to learn) the sport of soccer, knowledge of acceptable youth coaching practices, and a desire to help develop skills, sportsmanship, and self-esteem.
Training provided: A weekend coach clinic, paid for by the club, will be available for all coaches. Prospector also offers "on the field" player/coach training for U6-U8 teams by an experienced soccer training organization.
  • Supporting the children in our community through youth soccer is a very fun and rewarding experience but it takes "a village" to make the difference. Please volunteer today!
